It is with great excitement that we announce that the Board of Directors of the East Bay Community Foundation has appointed equity and justice strategist Brandi Howard as our new president and CEO. Brandi will join EBCF on November 14, 2022.

Brandi joins EBCF from San Francisco Foundation, where she has held positions of progressive and expanding responsibility, including chief of staff and interim vice president of programs, over the past five years. Brandi brings a wealth of experience in community-engaged change-making, building strong culture, and leading strategic planning and implementation within multiple sectors. 

In short, Brandi is all the things we value at EBCF:
