David Mould is a seasoned HR leader and certified professional coach, bringing more than 15 years of experience supporting mission-driven organizations in philanthropy, education, advocacy, and tech.
Prior to joining EBCF, David served as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, supporting teams across education, engineering, and operations. He also led human resources and operations at Tides Advocacy, where he partnered with progressive leaders and movements to advance social change.
David is known for building connected, high-performing teams, fostering inclusive workplaces, and coaching individuals and leaders through change and growth. His work is deeply rooted in a commitment to racial, social, and economic justice.
In addition to his HR leadership, David maintains an active coaching practice, helping people find clarity, confidence, and purpose in their work and lives.
David lives in San Francisco with his two teenage daughters, his husband, Don, and their spirited dog, Chase. He’s a fan of live music – often at The Fillmore – a devoted fantasy book reader, and always up for a good movie.
