COVID-19: A Just East Bay Response Fund
Grantees
The coronavirus pandemic and its many compounding effects have thrust families into crisis across the country and throughout the East Bay. Individuals and families already living in extreme poverty are experiencing even more dire circumstances; others who were barely making ends meet are now facing loss of income, food and housing insecurity, health impacts, and other challenges. Extensive conversations with our core partners made clear the need for immediate financial assistance for economically vulnerable families and those without access to public funds. A range of other direct services and supports are also needed to support those most vulnerable, including undocumented immigrants; unsheltered; those employed in the cash economy; the uninsured; low-income youth and seniors; victims of domestic violence; and the formerly incarcerated.
