Whether through innovative ideas, fiduciary oversight or strategic guidance, EBCF’s Board of Trustees plays a pivotal role in the effective governance of the Foundation. In honor of the generations of service contributed by both current former board members, EBCF is grateful to have been able to celebrate its remarkable legacy of leadership.
On Thursday August 16, we were honored to be among so many committed and supportive individuals who have guided EBCF’s direction and growth over the past four plus decades. Hosted by Jim King at the Round Hill Country Club, the event was not only an opportunity for reflection and reconnecting with old friends but it also provided a chance to learn more about the challenges facing our region, and hear from current President and CEO, James Head about the Foundation’s efforts to support those working to promote social justice and build a more inclusive East Bay.
In this year, the 90th anniversary of our founding in 1928, EBCF is marking this milestone with a series of events that will bring together visionary leaders and organizations to reflect on nine decades of progress, to discuss current challenges, and to look ahead to the next generation of work.
Stay tuned for upcoming invitations and please take a moment to browse our gallery of photos from the event.
