Supporting Foundations are legally distinct charitable entities that combine the qualities of a private foundation and a public charity. The East Bay Community Foundation provides supporting foundations with administrative support and oversight in order to assist them accomplish their missions.

Open Circle Foundation

Open Circle Foundation begins with the belief that art can constitute a vital force in the lives of individuals and communities. The Foundation seeks to encourage dialogue between the arts and the natural and urban environments by supporting projects that link the arts, the natural world, and local communities. Open Circle Foundation encourages requests for projects that improve the quality of life in a community, and enhance the human experience of the natural or urban environment.

T. Gary and Kathleen Rogers Family Foundation

The mission of the Rogers Family Foundation is to support and enable organizations committed to the highest level of achievement and excellence with a particular emphasis in the areas of education and youth development in the city of Oakland and its immediate surrounding areas. The Foundation also supports programs that emphasize athletics, arts, science and the environment as mechanisms of education and youth development. The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals.
